Jane Howard and Jane McCall became friends in 2003 when their children went to the same village school. For a while they each pursued their own careers in different parts of the country but the friendship endured and by 2020 Jane McC was back in Sussex. The light bulb moment happened later that year when Jane McC ran a lampshade painting course organised by a mutual friend. Always a huge admirer of Jane McC’s artistic talent , Jane H took part and quickly realised there was nothing like this on the market.

Having started out as a fun project, born of a passion for Charleston Farmhouse, Bloomsbury Revisited has grown beyond our wildest dreams. But true to the spirit of those flamboyant Bloomsbury Set residents who originally inspired us, we will hold onto our vision of a quirky, rather bohemian enterprisewe both love, without chasing the goal of big brand status.
